Crimson Leviathan

Yetti is an international award winning tattooer who has won trophies for Best Black and Grey Portraits, and for Best Color tattoos as well; he has been practicing his craft since the beginning of 2001. He has traveled extensively, tattooing and studying the art and traditions of his craft all across North America, Hawaii, Canada, and as far away as China. That early exposure in his career to such a wide variety of tattoo theories helped shape his work into what it is today...expansive and consuming. He maintains a tight focus on Traditional Japanese, Photo Realistic Portraits, Traditional Americana, and Tribal tattooing as dark as the soul of a Norwegian Death Metal band. Yetti also excels at multi-dimensional, large scale, custom free-hand tattooing; but always maintaining a singular focus in each style that he works within as he applies the tattoo that best suits the needs of each individual client. Yetti has been extremely fortunate to have had his work and life directly guided by a largely older generation of tattooers, many of whom influenced him to start tattooing in the first place. Along his path he was lucky enough to work at a handful of phenomenal internationally renowned tattoo studios; most notably Black Wave in Los Angeles and Shahn Anderson's Electric Dragonland in Minneapolis. His Japanese work has been directly influenced through the friendship and guidance of the legendary Mike Roper and the venerable Trevor McStay from Australia; as well as considerable tutelage from the rather formidable Brian Bruno during his time at Ed Hardy's Tattoo City...his Tribal tattooing directly influenced through the Father of modern Tribal, Leo Zulueta and his protégé Rory Keating, as well as the great Samoan elder Su'a Sulu'ape Petelo...his Portrait talent was graciously smoothed out by the award winning Portrait tattooer Manuel Vega...and his attention to micro-detailing repeatedly inspired by the ever illustrious Shahn Anderson. Along the way, Yetti also enjoyed and benefited from a brief stint of working alongside his longtime friend and mentor Adam Ciferri building tattoo machines and having endless intellectual discourse about the theory and principles that form the vortextual core of their chosen professions.
